SONGS

You already know about Eddy’s many hit songs over the years.

A lesser known fact may be all the artists who have recorded songs written by Eddy.

"Thank God for Kids"

Originally released as the B-side of Eddy’s 1976 single "The Curse Of A Woman," “Thank God For Kids” was re-released as the title track of Raven's album THANK GOD FOR KIDS in 1984 (MCA Records).

The Oak Ridge Boys re-recorded the tune and the track spent 16 weeks on the Hot Country Songs Charts peaking at No. 3.

Kenny Chesney covered the song; it was a featured track on his Christmas album ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A REAL GOOD TAN (2004). Chesney’s recording spent one week at No. 60 on the country singles charts (January 2004).

John Rich (Big & Rich) also recorded the tune; it appeared on Rich's FOR THE KIDS extended play project.
